Your site r anking is controlled by the a lgorithms found in our search engine script.

Returned pages are ranked according to how often the search words occur and where. Search words score highest if they feature in all elements. The score decreases if the search words are absent in any element. If two or more pages score the same after or without weighting they appear in the same order as the database.

One way to improve your ranking is to better analyze what, someone looking for your site, might type in our search. The closer the match to a query the higher your rank will be.

Also it would help if you place meta tags on your site and include keywords in them and a site description (there are not many site in Owensboro that use them). (you may go here for more info on how to use them)

As a way to help support this project and as a way to assist webmasters to have some control of their site ranking we have added a ranking system to the algorithm. Where "0" is the lowest rank and "10" is the highest.

As a default, all sites listed in the database have a ranking of 0. For a fee you may select a different ranking. Look at the table below for more information on pricing.
